Please read these terms and conditions carefully before using our escape room services.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing and using Harbour Escape Rooms services, you accept and agree to be bound by the terms and provision of this agreement. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of our escape room facilities, website, and all related services provided by Harbour Escape Rooms located at 12 Wharf Lane, Sydney, NSW 2000, Australia.

2. Booking and Reservations

All bookings must be made through our official website, phone, or email. Reservations are subject to availability and confirmation. We reserve the right to cancel or modify bookings due to unforeseen circumstances, technical issues, or safety concerns. In such cases, we will offer alternative time slots or provide a full refund.

Payment is required at the time of booking to secure your reservation. We accept major credit cards, debit cards, and other payment methods as specified during the booking process.

3. Age Requirements and Restrictions

Participants must be at least 12 years old to participate in our escape room experiences. Children under 16 must be accompanied by an adult (18+ years old) at all times during the experience. We reserve the right to refuse entry to participants who do not meet age requirements or appear to be under the influence of alcohol or substances.

Certain rooms may have additional age restrictions or content warnings, which will be clearly communicated during the booking process.

4. Cancellation and Refund Policy

Cancellations made more than 48 hours before your scheduled experience are eligible for a full refund. Cancellations made between 24-48 hours before your experience will receive a 50% refund. Cancellations made less than 24 hours before your scheduled time or no-shows are not eligible for refunds.

Rescheduling is allowed up to 24 hours before your scheduled experience, subject to availability. Emergency cancellations due to illness or unforeseen circumstances will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis.

5. Safety and Conduct

Your safety is our top priority. All participants must follow safety instructions provided by our game masters. Disruptive behavior, damage to property, or failure to follow safety guidelines may result in immediate removal from the premises without refund.

We are not liable for injuries resulting from participant misconduct, failure to follow instructions, or pre-existing medical conditions. Participants engage in escape room activities at their own risk.

6. Photography and Privacy

We may take photographs or videos during your experience for promotional purposes. By participating, you consent to the use of your likeness in our marketing materials. If you prefer not to be photographed, please inform our staff before your experience begins.

Personal belongings may be stored in designated areas. We are not responsible for lost, stolen, or damaged personal items.

7. Intellectual Property

All content, including but not limited to puzzles, storylines, room designs, and branded materials, are the intellectual property of Harbour Escape Rooms. Participants may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works based on our content without written permission.

8. Limitation of Liability

Harbour Escape Rooms' liability is limited to the amount paid for your experience. We are not liable for indirect, consequential, or punitive damages. Our maximum liability for any claims arising from your visit shall not exceed the cost of your booking.

9. Force Majeure

We are not liable for any failure to perform our obligations due to circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to natural disasters, government actions, power outages, or public health emergencies.

10. Modifications to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms of Service at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting on our website. Your continued use of our services after any changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.

11. Governing Law

These Terms of Service are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia. Any disputes arising from these terms or your use of our services will be resolved in the courts of New South Wales.
